Storytelling Through Data
Time Frame
2021-2025
Role
Business Analyst/ Business operations Analyst
Context
Although I started my career in newsrooms, not boardrooms, storytelling had always been the common thread. So, I know firsthand how important data is, it's what tells the story and allows us to connect the dots between people and outcomes. In certain projects, there was a clear disconnect between the story and the data. More specifically, product organizations needed a data-driven way to visualize its SaaS releases.
My Challenge: This meant visualize over 80 annual GTM launches owned by over 40 global teams and bring it all together into a unified narrative.

Goals:
Visualize
data through dynamic dashboards
Translate
metrics into meaningful stories that connect release progress
Empower
cross-functional alignment on release performance
Actions
1.Product Database
Our product catalog was massive and... scattered. So I helped build a central Product Database that made it all make sense. Now, every product, code, and status lives in one visual dashboard, complete with lifecycle metrics, owner details, and business segmentation. The result? A single source of truth for product visibility across the company.

2.Release Summaries and Marketing
I built a transparent view of every software release — turning complex data into clear visuals that kept Sales, Marketing, and Product aligned and launch-ready. Using Aha! roadmaps and release calendars, the data evolved into quarterly marketing spotlights that brought product stories to life.

3.Launch Reporting and Dashboards
I built a network of data-driven dashboards that transformed raw Jira data into actionable visuals, helping leaders track release readiness, risk, and progress at a glance. Through EazyBI reports, Jira dashboards, I turned operational noise into insights which showed not just where projects stood, but why they mattered.
